Lameness

So - - - today I finally am getting back to my blog. I go to my first post. I have 2 comments. YEA! I'm so excited! Mind you, I am new at this-- I am way excited! I read the comments. One was from Breezy. She is proud of me! Thank you Breezy! One was from my daughter Shaylyn. She says I'm Lame! Well, not me, my blogging skills so to speak. She says if I'm going to blog, I need to follow rule #1 which is to keep up with my blog and do it often. Hummmm, Did you not know that I have been down in bed for nearly a week. I have been S I C K, coughing my head off which left my throat feeling like it was on fire not to mention my ribs that felt like they were all broken. My whole entire body was so weak that I could hardly sit up. I hurt like I'd been run over by a semi truck carring a truck load of cotton that all ended up in my mouth due to the fact that my nose was so stuffed from snot that nothing could go up it, especially not AIR.
BUT - - I'm sure feeling better today! I think I'll live, and I'll try to remember the rules of blogging.

Chelsea and I did a little shopping today. It was so nice to finally get OUT OF BED! We went shopping for T's Birthday presents. My granddaughter had her 1st birthday on the 17th, but they celebrated on Sunday. I was unable to go and felt so terrible about that. I saw some cute pictures of her eating her birthday cake. SHE IS DARLING!

So so sick

Notice the PUFFS on my hip. One should have been on the pillow under my nose - whoops!

Chicken Soup

I started getting sick AGAIN on Thursday or Friday, not sure. When it hit, it hit hard! My head was like it burst pipes or something. My nose and eyes were like broken plumbling lines, I was pouring constantly! Within a few hours of constant wipeing, I aready had a sore nose, so I decided I to go to the store to buy some good kleenex that have lotion in them. I bought 2 packages of Puffs! I'm a new fan of those things. I'll never do a cold without them. They are sooooooo soft. Still, my nose is raw, but I don't know what I would have done with out it.

Anyway, my wonderful Mother learned that I was sick and she made me a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup. I have eaten nothing but that soup since Monday. Thank heaven for moms! I love you mom! (She'll never read this, she doesn't even have internet, but I want the world to know that I do love her!

Getting on board

Okay - - this is my first blog ever! I'm a little nervous, but excited too. I've been apprehensive about doing it for MANY reasons. But for heaven's sake, what's the big deal? So I spell a few words wrong, use poor grammer, punctuate incorrectly, say dumb things, tell on myself, and confess my boring life - - So what? Who cares? Well, the truth is I don't really want to put myself out there to make a fool out of myself, but because I've been reading my children's posts for a while now, and loving every minute of it, I decided to get on board too. Besides...I've noticed a few weird things on my kids posts and I still love them!!! I 've been so happy to have their lives right at my fingertips so to speak. I peak in on their lives every single day and I love learning about what they are doing and how they are all getting along. Sometimes I have to admit, I feel a little like I'm spying in on their lives, it's been so fun! When you're the mom sometimes you're the last one to know things, so this blogging stuff has been quite informitive! Thank you technology! Keep writting kids. Just pretend I'm not here. Only one request please.... be nice when talking about me. But when I need a good repremand, go ahead.... I can handle it!

I'll be needing blog lessons. Any volunteers????
